• Philadelphia light heavyweight Khalib 'Bigfoot' Whitmore, now 4-0, scored a first round stoppage of North Carolina's Mark Baltimore. With quick intent, Baltimore tried to slug it out with Whitmore and end it early, and so the two fighters went toe-to-toe and exchanged bombs nonstop. Baltimore could not keep up the furious pace he himself set against the better conditioned Whitmore, who eventually battered the by then helpless and out of gas Baltimore on the ropes at will before the referee waived off the contest.

Strange props aside though, the odd-looking Whitmore, who to Baltimore and others at ringside looked like a joke, proved to Baltimore and those at ringside he is a Philly fighter who can in fact and fight very well he surprisingly did.
