• Bissett fought mostly a survival type bout, mostly looking to grab and hold. He threw a few counters here and there, but his right eye was swollen and cut after three rounds. Bujaj worked Bissett over with accurate head power shots for five rounds, and finally the referee stopped it. Perhaps Bissett could have gone the distance, but with Bissett doing nothing but holding and not throwing any punches, and Bujaj giving him a rough beating, the bout was wisely stopped by veteran New York referee Benjy Esteves Jr., who protected Bissett from further punishment.
