Olympic Bronze Medalist Oleksandr Gvozdyk from the Ukraine knocked out Mike Montoya, Colorado, in the final seconds of the opening round with a right hand to debut in impressive fashion.

Gvozdyk, who hurt Montoya at the opening bell with a left hook, connected with a hard straight right hand on the chin that put Montoya flat on his back, striking his head on the mat. Without counting, Referee Russell Moya waved an end to the bout and immediately called for the doctors to come into the ring. Montoya was helped up and seemed to be in good condition aside from some swelling and bruising under his right eye.
