Zannelli knocked Camuso down near the end of the 2nd round, with a left to the stomach, followed by a right to the jaw. Camuso would recover and take control of the fight, using his left jab from the outside, while Zannelli attempted to counter, while being frustrated inside by Camuso's clinching. Camuso began to tire in the 7th round, with Zannelli winning the last two rounds by a good margin. In the 10th round, Zannelli knocked Camuso down twice for nine-counts with body punches.
