Overlin knocked Wilkerson down in the 2nd round for a nine-count with a right hand, that also cut Wilkerson over his left eye. Overlin nearly finished Wilkerson in the 6th round, but appeared content to box until the 9th round, when a right hand to the jaw knocked Wilkerson out for the count.
