Bass knocked Repman down in the 1st round with a left hook to the chin for an eight-count. Bass knocked Repman down for nine in the 2nd round, with a right hook to the jaw. Repman came out aggressively in the 3rd round, and Bass proceeded to batter him before finishing him with a right to the jaw. Referee Houck waved the count at two, as Repman was out for several minutes.
