• In a rematch of a close bout three months earlier, welterweight prospect Josh Bowles won a unanimous decision over Dominican trialhorse Jhovanny Collado, who spent the entire bout headhunting with his right hook but missing. Bowles improved over the previous bout, preferring to keep moving while countering and not standing in front of Collado as he did in the previous bout. Collado went down in the second round from a Bowles counter left. Collado, unable to change strategies, just kept headhunting but missed with his right hook for all six rounds and looked tired out at the end. Bowles jabs won every round therefore.
