• In a light middleweight bout closer than the scorecards indicated, tall fighter fox had trouble with short but powerful Garcia, who stood in front of him, took every power shot, and countered with his own power shots. Unable to hurt or move Garcia, Fox kept moving and jabbing for points to win this six rounder. Garcia appeared to win only the fourth round, when Fox, not moving, tried to overpower but could not outduel his hard hitting foe inside in the trenches.
