Garcia went down early in the 1st round, for no-count on a right hand to the chin. He came back quickly, and dropped Cobb for a one-count before the round was over. Garcia battered Cobb in the 2nd round, and almost had him out at the bell. After an even 3rd round, Garcia knocked Cobb down with a right to the jaw in the 4th round, with Cobb rising at the count of four. In the 5th round, a right and left hook to the head put Cobb down for a five-count. Right before the bell to end the round, Garcia floored Cobb again with a left to the chin. As the bell range, the referee stopped the bout.
