"Van Klaveren really made the Mexican look silly. He'd feign, bob and weave and as the Kid missed a punch by a city block Bep would tear in and drop six or seven stinging wallops. The prize wise-crack of the evening presents a good idea of the fight. It came from one of Azteca's staunch supporters. 'Why don't you stand still and fight?!' he shouted at Van Klaveren as the Dutchman bobbed and weaved from the path of the Mexican's gloves. And that was just it. Azteca couldn't touch 'em simply because Bep never stayed in the same place long enough to get hit, but did find the Mexican in the same spot whenever he decided it was time to toss some more gloves.
