This bout was also covered by the article "Auto Pilots Drive on Slippery Course", New York Times, New York, New York, pg. 15, 25 November 1911. The article referred to Dick Marshal as "Battling Marshall". The bout was a semi-final bout, as few if any of Hollandersky's bouts were main events in New York during his career. Hollandersky became better known to the Times after they ran news of both of his Panamanian Heavyweight Championship fights, one on June 1, and one article on September 3, 1913. These articles mentioned Hollandersky's few preliminary fights that had run in the New York Times. That this was a semi-final bout and not an early preliminary may indicate Hollandersky was becoming a slightly bigger draw as a boxer. By 1911, he was well-known in New London and had boxed in a few bouts as the headliner.
