- In a bout which went off at heavyweight, muscular well-conditioned Louisiana cruiserweight Bolden, 38, exposed the padded record of 7-3-2 6 KOs local Reading fighter Stauffer, trading power punches which finally send Stauffer through the ropes, draped over the ring ropes and completely out of it, forcing the stoppage by referee Gary Rosato. Stauffer was gone. Only stoppage and worst bout of the night, a mismatch that stunk out the house. Bolden, whose professional debut was against a light heavyweight with 35 professional bouts experience, was not fooled by Stauffer's winning record.
