- The World Boxing Federation maintained recognition of Hamazoui as the split decision winner of the bout and the WBF Female World Flyweight title.
- Bout was also for the vacant World Boxing Council Silver Female Flyweight title. The WBC awarded Hamazoui this belt after she defeated Amasheh
- A month after Hamazoui won, the BDB Bund Deutscher Berufsboxer changed the ten round split decision win for Hamazoui to a No Contest, and notified BoxRec and FightFax.
- The BDB website stated the 'No Contest' ruling in this bout was a joint decision of the BDB and the WBC. However, the WBC then denied involvement with the No Contest.
- The WBC responded stating it never changed its decision nor would this action be within the WBC rules.
- BoxRec reader's note: The WBC by-laws cannot change any decision outright, however a decision can be appealed and overturned for just cause. No WBC appeal was filed after this bout. The BDB can reverse a decision based on its own laws and criterion on its own, without the WBC. While not unusual for a person to file an appeal of a pro sport outcome with an official athletic commission for valid reason, it is not known if Amasheh or a BDB official filed an appeal with the BDB, and if so what the basis for it was, facts to be revealed in court.
- In May 2015, Hamazoui filed a lawsuit in Kiel Germany District Court against the BDB Bund Deutscher Berufsboxer. [[1]] The lawsuit seeks to overturn the No Contest report of the BDB for being without just cause. To date, besides the BDB mention of the WBC (the WBC denies involvement) no cause has been stated for the reversal of the bout outcome.
- The BDB is an internationally recognized boxing authority. The 'No Contest' decision of the BDB in this bout remains official, barring a court ruling in Germany.
