- Late in round one, Kittikasem snaps back the head back of Chitalada with a flush left hook that draws a response from the crowd. Seconds later, he connects with another clean left hook that buckles the knees of Chitalada and sends him reeling into the ropes. In the ensuing barrage of punches Chitalada's glove briefly touches the canvas, drawing a mandatory count from the referee. Chitalada takes the count with both arms and his head lounging on the upper rope.
- Late in round 4, a round full of hard exchanges with both fighters winging power shots, Chitalada hits the canvas for a second time after a Kittikasem straight right hand. He rises quickly and does not seem to be seriously hurt. Chitalada surges after the knockdown, immediately pressuring Kittkikasem and backing him up for the first time in the fight.
- About a minute into round six a Kittikasem straight right sends Chitalada reeling across the ring. Trapped against the ropes and pursued by Kittikasmem, he is hit with a succession of flush left and right hooks that leave him limp and defenseless, held up by the ropes and the referee, who waves off the contest.
