- Rainone was winning rounds, and came on strong in the final moments to earn the stoppage just before the final bell. The Litzau corner came on the ring apron and stopped it with Litzau, out of gas, taking a bad beating along the ropes. Litzau was credited an early round knockout which Rainone claimed was a trip.
