• After a competitive first round, the taller Lee knocked down the shorter and slower Tapusoa three times with power shots to the head and body for an automatic TKO. After the third knockdown, Tapusoa was down and out, and did not get up, ending the contest.

• Despite fighting this bout at cruiserweight, rising prospect Mike Lee looked closer to light heavyweight than cruiserweight, and was expected to go back to the 175 pound weight class after this bout.
