Pro debut for Mexican super lightweight prospect Sosa, who put Muhammad on his back in the first round. Muhammad appeared down and out after a delayed reaction, but woke up and just beat the count, he then got on his bicycle for the remainder of the bout. Sosa was throwing power shots, some of which scored, keeping Muhammad on the defensive the entire bout. Sosa was headhunting, not jabbing however.
