• After the first round, the muscular tall Perez pretty much as his way with the much shorter tattooed Nicklow, who took a huge beating from head shot combinations, but just wouldn't go. Nicklow kept trying to fight his way inside and paid a price, most punches not landing but hanging tough to go the distance. Nicklow, who moved well but lacked power, landed a few occasional counters to remain competitive.
