- Sometimes MMA fighter Barrak came out throwing power hooks in the first two rounds to try to take Ruddock out, but the strategy did not work as Ruddock just managed to outbox Barrak over the next four rounds to win the bout. Barrak was to be the 2011 comeback opponent in Canada against the late heavyweight contender Tommy Morrison, but the bout was not approved in Canada so it did not take place. Ruddock's last loss was to Morrison in June 1995.
