Fight 1982851 Abe Hollandersky vs. Tommy Connors, Panama City Panama, April 26, 1914

This fight was described in "Tommy Connors Wins From Panama Fighter in Fifteen Rounds", The Scranton Republican, Scranton, Pennsylvania, pg. 14, 8 May 1914

Connors, a Scranton boxer, dominated the bout, and would shortly fight Kid Norfolk, whom Hollandersky had already met. Connors may have had weight on Hollandersky, and most certainly had a five inch advantage in height and reach. The article noted Connors won on a fifteen round points decision.

Connors fought both George Chip, and Mike Gibbons, two great world middleweight contenders, in his career, though he lost to both by newspaper decision.
