• The taller Easter knocked down the shorter Mendoza with a left to the head and left to the body for a nine count in round one. Mendoza just beat the count.
• In round two, a simple short right to Mendoza's head by Easter which followed Easter's pinpoint accurate and nonstop body shot combinations, sent a defeated Mendoza sinking slowly to the canvas down and out from the accumulation of damaging blows, where he was counted out.
