Marciano landed a nifty left hook in the first round and floored DiGiorgio for "nine, " but Tommy arose and gave a good account of himself. He boxed well and made Rocky miss, but a right and left sent DiGiorgio down for nine in the fourth. After Tommy arose, Marciano uncorked a terrific right which ended the fight even though his forearm landed instead of his fist. Attendance was 2255 and the gate was $3, 565.
