Here's why, stated again: Caputo Smith had failed a Nevada physical where he was scheduled to appear on the Floyd Mayweather Jr. versus Manny Pacquiao undercard in Las Vegas. Smith had knee surgery in early 2015 and claimed full recovery, however his mobility was not the same as he was as a fighter before his knee issues. After getting stopped as a last minute opponent by Ola Afolabi, Caputo Smith's health issues led to knee surgery, and he needed to wait at least a year to allow himself recovery time after the fact. He did not.
