• In the preliminary to the main event of a seven bout card at Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn promoted by diBella Entertainment, European Featherweight champion Djemilla Gontaruk of Belgium took this bout with Amanda Serrano at junior welterweight, three classes above her fight weight, and consensus at ringside was Gontaruk was brave even to take this fight, as Serrano's corner always has problems finding any opponent. Gontaruk had a tight defense, landed a few decent punches in the first two rounds, and slipped punches well at the start. However, the taller Serrano had considerable height and reach advantage and took her time, as the shorter Gontaruk stood in front of her and squared up. Serrano patiently landed power head and body punch combinations and broke Gontaruk down, who remained in front of her offering a target. In the third round, Serrano beat Gontaruk senseless with head shots from both hands, forcing an immediate stoppage by referee Sparkle Lee at 1:38 of round three.
