- Hard right hand from Campas opened a bloody cut on the left eye of Bonsante in the fourth round. The cut did not figure into the outcome of the bout.
- Announced as a double 'retirement' bout for both participants, ring veterans Yori Boy Campas and Anthony Bonsante.
- Campas knocked down Bonsante in the fifth round. Bonsante got penalized a point for holding later in the fifth.
- Bonsante got penalized a point again in the sixth round for holding.
- In the seventh, Bonsante, frustrated and trailing on the cards, lifted Campas by the waist and legs into the air, and threw him down.
- Campas' trainer entered the ring signaling his fighter was unable to continue due to a leg injury. Bonsante was disqualified, ending the contest.[[1]]
