Hamzah Eljahmi Bantamweight Tragedy in Youngstown, Ohio
- Both bantamweight fighters debuted in this four rounder. Hamzah knocked down three times in first round, buty came back to win the second and third rounds.
- Eljahmi took some serious shots in the last round from Taylor, lost the round, and also lost the four round fight by majority decision, by one point, because of it.
- Eljahmi tragically fell to the canvas and went into a coma as the bout ended. Removed immediately from St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Hall by ambulance.
- Eljahmi was hospitalized in Youngstown, Ohio, unconscious in critical condition, with a blood clot on the brain. His career was over.
