• The Julius Long corner objected to the technical decision for Graham. The head clash happened earlier in the bout. Long opened up the cut with a punch later.
• Graham, undefeated in last 12, was inactive from December 2002 to April 2012 when he won the New South Wales State Heavyweight title. Graham said after the bout he would welcome a rematch.
• Long, at 7'1", perhaps the tallest to fight for a version of the world heavyweight title, along with 7'0" WBA World champion Nicolai Valuev.
