• In the BB King card preliminary bout to the main event, Rosa knocked down the durable Meraz in the sixth and eighth rounds, Meraz also lost two points for intentionally falling to the canvas on numerous occasions while fighting in close. Rosa lost a point for a rabbit punch, but both fighters were rabbit punching all night after Meraz started it. Meraz took the bout long and dirty, and Rosa responded in kind. Meraz survived by holding a great deal, and some occasional counters.
