Moore knocked Martinez (Globe) down in the first round with a left hook for a nine-count. Moore then put Martinez down for a two-count draped on the ropes with a right hand. Finally, before the round ended, Moore landed a right hand that dropped Martinez for a third time, this time for another nine-count. In the 2nd round, after Moore dropped Martinez with a stiff jab, and the referee stepped in and stopped the bout.
