After two competitive rounds, Moore knocked Monroe down with a straight right to the head. Monroe took no count, before dropping back down to take a rest. Moore controlled the 4th and 5th rounds with his jab, and was continuing the pattern in the 6th, when Monroe cut loose with both hands in an attempt to turn the fight around. Moore caught him with a right to the head, which floored him for the count.
