- 11-0 rising prospect and Danish knockout artist Osama Hadifi got upset by th always ready former World Junior Welterweight champion DeMarcus 'Chop-Chop' Corley. Corley, who showed up as a boxing southpaw at a trim 135 pounds, survived Hadifi's power shot attacks and a near knockdown in the third round, and used superior body work to slowly but surely patiently break Hadifi down. Nine of Hadifi's 11 wins were first round knockouts, but only one of his opponents had a winning record. Hadifi had been into the fourth round twice, and Corley's strategy to drag Hadifi into deep waters in a scheduled eight rounder (not shorter) had a purpose. By the fifth round, Hadifi started to tire. As the sixth round started, Hadifi was taking a bead beating to the body and received a standing eight count. As the action resumed, at 42 seconds of the sixth round, Corley continued his relentless body assault, which sent the badly hurt Hadifi down and out, seen by Denmark crowd at Ceres Park at Danish Fight Night and on TV 2 Sport. Corley, ahead by only one point, 48-47 on two scorecards, and ahead 49-47 on the third scorecard, left nothing to chance. Even with a knockout win in every fight, Hadifi went down and out.
