Moore had an easy time with Riley, whom he staggered for the first time in the 3rd round. At the end of the 5th round, Moore staggered Riley again and put him to the canvas on his back, where he was when the bell rang. At the start of the 6th, after giving Riley a chance to lead for a few moments, Moore landed a right-left, followed by a left to the stomach which sent Riley down for the count.
