Williams was floored for "9" in round 10 on a right to the jaw, and took a 6-count in the 11th on a similar right. When he went down again from another right to the jaw, the fight was stopped. Moore had Williams hurt in the 3rd round, before Williams use left jab and boxing skills to win the 5th and 6th round. With the fight even up to that point, Moore battered Williams in the 7th, 8th, and 9th rounds.
