• Ramirez tried to slug it out with Lebedev in a corner and went down. Ramirez got up, breathing heavily. The fight continued, but soon after that, Lebedev began landing power shots with both hands to thew head of Ramirez. At some point, Ramirez, not throwing back, turned his back. Lebedev waited for the defenseless Ramirez to turn back around, then continued unloading till Ramirez dropped his hands and was hung over. The rain of power shots continued from Lebedev till referee Steve Smoger wisely stopped the fight, after giving Ramirez every chance to get back into the bout but not doing so.
