- In the out of the night at Sun National Bank Center in Trenton, junior welterweights Tyrone Crawley Jr. and Alexander Charmeco fought a George Foreman versus Ron Lyle style slugfest in the six round walkout bout, with Crawley throwing bombs away power shot swings to the head, and Charneco immediately countering with power shot bomb swings in return. Crawley won every round and then some, with Charneco going down in the first round, but getting up to make a go of it. Crawley landed most of his bombs. Charneco somehow stayed on his feet, though most of his wild swings missed. A few connected, though, to keep him in the fight to the final bell.
- Crawley Jr. is the son of southpaw lightweight Tyrone Crawley, who fought Livingstone Bramble for the WBA World Lightweight title in 1986.
