- IBF light middleweight semi-final eliminator. With this win, Harrison moved up to the #2 ranking in the division.
- Trainer Ricky Hatton was in the corner of Rabchenko.
- Harrison and Rabchenko fought a competitive bout, with Harrison winning the first seven rounds on a fast jab and rapid foot movement. Rabchenko won the eighth round with a bit more aggression. In the ninth round, a short power right to the chin sent Rabchenko to the canvas. Sabchenko beat the count of referee Arthur Mercante Jr., who waived the bout off as Rabchenko was out on his feet. Rabchenko fought the entire bout one dimensional, coming forward but never trying to get inside, without a single hold the whole contest! With Rabchenko out of distance range, Harrison, taller with longer reach, picked his jabs carefully and kept landing them in the quiet bout, waiting for the one opening to take Rabchenko out. Eventually he found it. The entire Ricky Hatton style technical bout for Rabchenko was for naught. One power shot to the chin finished him and immediately took him out. It was a dramatic sudden ending to an otherwise boring bout.
