Pep dominated Ivy in the first eight rounds, as he outboxed him. Pep began to cut loose in the 9th round, as he battered Ivy, and staggered him at the end of the round. Pep dropped Ivy for a three-count in the 10th round with a left hook to the jaw, and after Ivy staggered to his feet, the bout was stopped.
