Pep knocked Transparenti down six times, with a left hook to the body being the knockout blow. Transparenti nearly floored Pep with a left hook in the 3rd round, when he caught him backing away. Pep slid to the lowest strand of the ropes, but bounced back immediately and scored a nine-count knockdown with a left hook to the jaw.
