After boxing carefully and capably for the first two rounds, Pep began open up in the 3rd round. Pep first appeared to stun Knox with four successive left hooks, then stepped away and landed right to the chin that hurt Knox, and then finished him with two body shots and a left hook to the chin. Knox rose at the count of nine, unsteadily, and the bout was stopped.
