- The shorter Hernandez had to get inside immediately and tried. Heiland started rusty, his timing was off, allowing the shorter Hernandez to hit him with a good right hand. As round one progressed, Heiland dropped the aggressive Hernandez twice coming in. In the second round, a hard combination by world ranked middleweight Heiland put veteran journeyman Hernandez on his knees, down and out, ending the contest.
