  • Kermit Cintron's left eye area was damaged with a bad cut from a head butt by Manny Woods in round 4. The bout was not stopped, and the cut did not affect the outcome of the bout. However, after Cintron won the bout, Pennsylvania Athletic Commissioner Greg Sirb ordered Cintron's left eye cut immediately glued shut, and Cintron sent to the hospital for medical treatment, mandating a 'no boxing' period to enable Cintron adequate healing time for the injury.
