Vacant WBC Asian Boxing Council (ABCO) Bantamweight Title-

- Suriyan Kaikanha (AKA Suriyan Sor Rungvisai) had voluntarily vacated the ABCO championship to challenge for the WBC Silver title. He failed to capture the Silver title when he lost to Anselmo Moreno via a 12-round, unanimous decision on April 30, 2016.

- The ABCO #1 ranked Kaikanha was ahead by three 39-37 scores after four rounds and regained the ABCO title when Gandionco retired in his corner after the completion of the fifth round.
