• In the preliminary bout to the main event of an eight bout card at 2300 Arena, Wilson played the part of pursuer, aggressive walking down the taller Capers for all six rounds. Capers 'did the marathon', running away throwing tap punches the entire night, and held when Wilson got too close. While Wilson did not throw many punches, he was clearly the come forward aggressor. Capers, tall and in condition, ran to survive and did not try to trade with the shorter hard punching Wilson, who quietly outboxed Capers for four of six rounds, and opted not to punch himself out.
