Donato Paduano 147 lbs beat Marcel Cerdan Jr 147 lbs by UD in round 10 of 10

“During the opening rounds Cerdan displayed a sharp left jab that the 21‐year‐old Paduano, usually a deft defender, was unable to thwart. But by the fourth the Italian‐born, 7‐to‐5 betting favorite was beginning to connect more solidly. When the fifth began Paduano appeared to realize that he was in command. But moments later they bumped heads. Suddenly blood flowed from above Paduano's left eye. Paduano bled after that but was able to pepper Cerdan with a solid jab and an occasional right.”
