Leonard boxed on even terms with Sullivan in the 6th round. In the 6th round, Sullivan put Leonard to his knees with a solid body shot, and then battered him to the canvas again at the end of the round. In the 7th round, Leonard was helpless, and was put down twice more. Leonard's corner threw in the towel to begin the 8th round.
