Note on official result from the Nova Scotia Boxing Authority: Upon viewing the videotape of the main Event, it was determined by both the Halifax Athletic Commission and the Nova Scotia Boxing Authority that Benjie Coldstone was not punished sufficiently to warrant a 10 count. It was ruled that Coldstone, in fact quit and his purse money is being with-held pending an appeal which, if lost, will mean his purse money will be forfeited. His boxing license is suspended pending thye appeal and again if the appeal is lost, his license will be cancelled. It should be noted that this is the second instance of Coldstone quitting in recent months. On april 30/79 in Montreal his purse was seized and was suspended for 30 days when the Montreal Athletic Commission ruled that Coldstone quit.
