It appears that it was not Johnny Burns at all who received a beating at the hands of Frankie Bull at Hamilton, Canada, last Friday night. Burns was offered the bout but did not accept because of not being in the best of condition. Sigi Burns, his younger brother, offered to go in his stead, but did not come to terms. Announcement was made in Hamilton that Burns was to box Bull. On the night of the bout a substitute was sent over from Buffalo, and he took a licking.
