David Kui Kong Young 119 lbs drew with Rush Dalma 120 lbs by PTS in round 10 of 10

The Honolulu Advertiser agreed with the draw verdict, while the Honolulu Star-Bulletin favored Dalma 6-3-1 in rounds. All three officials scored the bout a draw. Young was mostly unable to land his vaunted left hand, with the exception of the opening round, when he dropped Dalma with one of his lefts. Young was cut over the right eye from a butt in the 3rd round. Dalma was effective in the bout, fighting as a counter-puncher, with the Star-Bulletin noting that Dalma scored repeatedly with his right hand.
