Doc Snell 135 lbs drew with Babe Herman 136 lbs by PTS in round 6 of 6
- Date: 1927-12-13
- Location: Crystal Pool, Seattle, Washington, USA
- Referee: Harold Bird
"Despite the fact that both boys were working hard, the gallery gods were none too pleased with either the fight or the decision. Herman was too clever for the Tacoma demon and balked most of Snell's attempts to lead, scoring three times for every punch he took. But he was forced into clinching after each lead to prevent the dynamite swinger from getting under way." Everett Daily Herald. It was later determined that Snell had fractured a bone in his hand.
The Seattle Times also felt that Herman won, stating that Herman won three rounds, Snell one, with two even.
