Talk about being overmatched. I barely lasted a round. A right punch put me on the floor and the referee had reached the count of eight when the bell rang. The minute’s rest between rounds seemed more like a second. I hardly heard the gong starting the second round. It sounded like it was miles away. I was trying to get up to fight but my manager wouldn’t let me. It was ruled a first-round technical knockout.
